Costa Crociere has chosen BluRhapsody for its exclusive event

Costa Crociere sceglie BluRhapsody per il suo evento esclusivo

This time BluRhapsody took off and set sail with Costa Crociere, to make the event dedicated to the twenty-fifth edition of “Protagonisti del Mare 2018” even more exclusive. This year the event was even more special for Costa, as it coincided with the celebration of its seventieth anniversary. For this occasion, over 1,800 guests (including agents and partners), coming from 32 different countries, boarded Costa Favolosa. The most awaited moments of the event were undoubtedly the now traditional award-giving ceremony hosted by showgirl Natasha Stefanenko, the presentation of the new 2019/2020 catalogue and the main innovations in products and destinations.

Gastronomy of excellence

Gastronomy was one of the countless surprises, as chef Bruno Barbieri unveiled a preview of his new menu.

During the welcome cocktail, a BluRhapsody 3D pasta tasting was served, which amazed and surprised guests. On this special occasion, BluRhapsody paid tribute to Costa and its guests by creating two brand new pasta shapes dedicated to the theme of the event: Sea Urchin, a magnificent interpretation of a sea urchin, and Clam, replicating a clam shell with authentically faithful details. They were both presented and served with one of the most popular 3D pasta shapes: largely appreciated Kalpis, the amphora shape of which was perfectly in line with the theme, as it recalled an imaginary heirloom from some picturesque seabed. Kalpis was served in a realistic clay red colour, achieved adding red peppers to the dough. The three pasta shapes created a nice colour composition: Sea Urchin in black (squid-ink coloured dough), Kalpis in red and Clam in sand.
