Venice Food & Wine Festival was a unique experience, a whole weekend on Italian haute cuisine and fine wine and liqueur tasting.
The magnificent JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa was the set of this unforgettable rendezvous involving show cooking, wine tasting and surprising gastronomic experiences that guests experienced directly with some of the most well-known actors of Italian and international cuisine: starred chefs, wine experts and prominent members of excellence food & beverage companies.
And BluRhapsody could not be missing in such a scenario, as the great protagonist of the final gala dinner (defined by many as an event within the event) offering a totally unexpected dish, a spectacular composition based on fish and 3D pasta: Salix filled with squid tufts, Mussel with mussel and tomato sauce, Lobster Tail with scampi. Lobster Tail was designed exclusively for this rendezvous upon the request of Chef Melissa Kelly, who entrusted BluRhapsody with the creation of a customized signature shape for her dish.
However, cooking was not the only way the spectacular three-dimensional pasta collection was presented. BluRhapsody story was indeed told to visitors through an authentic art gallery, an exhibition displaying different pasta shapes, in various colors and customizations, as well as a photographic exhibition including captions on dishes portrayed and shapes and sketches leading to each idea.
