Throughout Bocuse d’Or OFF, a global event organized by the City of Turin during the world chef championship Bocuse d’Or Europe 2018, most museums of the city will collaborate with top members of the food and wine arena to deep dive into the relationship of cuisine and culture by reflecting on the theme: “Cuisine is Culture, Culture is Food for Human Beings”. In this framework, Turin Egyptian Museum has planned a meeting titled “Convivio Mediterraneo” that will be open to the public. Set in the impressive Galleria dei Re, under the guidance of food historians and nutrition experts, an overview will be given on the culture of cereal farming in the Mediterranean lands. It is a story about the past, the present and the future of ancient and new grains that will explore how this product has been used in the kitchen throughout the centuries.
At the end of the event, BluRhapsody will offer a special tasting prepared by starred Chef Roberto Rossi, introducing Pyramid, a new and exclusive 3D pasta shape, designed specifically to pay tribute to the location hosting the event. It is a small gesture by BluRhapsody to express its vision of future pasta, pure innovation that maintains a strong link with tradition.
