BluRhapsody dedicates a limited-edition pasta shape sold at an auction for charity to Mikaela Shiffrin and her extraordinary skiing career. 87 is the name of the 3D-printed shape, just as 87 is the number of Mikaela's victories.

 

Champion Mikaela Shiffrin, with her victory number 87, has definitively become a sports legend and the greatest female skier of all time. Nobody, man or woman, has never won as much as her in the discipline of alpine skiing. Indeed, with her last two World Cup victories, the American athlete has first equalled and then exceeded the victories record that previously belonged to Swedish skier Ingemar Stenmark.

To celebrate this spectacular record, BluRhapsody has designed an exclusive 3D-printed pasta shape for her, produced in a limited edition and auctioned by Barilla (of which Mikaela Shiffrin has been the face for several years now) on the Charity Stars platform. Proceeds have been entirely donated to support the Food for Soul charity.

Pasta numbers making up the number 87 have been designed to be stuffed... and possibly served as a cocktail, to be enjoyed with a glass of champagne to celebrate the victory that has consecrated her forever in the Olympus of skiing. In Shiffrin’s honour, a customized recipe has been designed, based on pesto alla genovese, her favourite sauce, in a gourmet version with marinated courgettes, ricotta cheese and microgreens. Simple, delicious and spectacular.
